PRODUCTION SERVICES WE OFFER
PRODUCTION SOUND MIXING
Your lead sound engineer on set, responsible for managing wireless systems, mixing audio in real time, and ensuring all recorded material is clean, properly leveled, and timecode synced. We use industry-standard gear and wireless systems designed for reliability, even in challenging RF environments. Our setups can be tailored to any production using either lightweight bag rigs or full cart-based configurations.
BOOM OPERATION
A skilled boom operator (also known as the First Assistant Sound) makes a massive difference to a production's sound. Their key responsibility is to place high-quality directional microphones exactly where they need to be, adjusting for blocking, lighting, and reflections while staying out of frame. Our team uses both cabled and wireless boom systems for flexibility and fast repositioning.
SOUND UTILITY
Our sound utilities support the full audio department by wiring talent, managing gear, handling quick on-set fixes, and keeping everything running smoothly. A reliable utility allows the sound mixer and boom op to focus on quality without interruptions.

All of these services are available as a full team or à la carte, depending on your production needs.

PRODUCTION SOUND
Every great mix starts on set. At Shinobi Sound, we capture clean, usable dialogue and detailed location audio that holds up in post. Whether you're shooting a feature, short film, commercial, or branded content, our Atlanta-based production sound team ensures your audio is crisp, consistent, and ready for editorial.
From small crews to multi-day productions, we provide professional Production Sound Mixing, Boom Operation, and Sound Utility services to support your workflow and protect your post schedule.
WHY QUALITY PRODUCTION SOUND MATTERS
The best dialogue edit in the world can't fix unusable production audio. Poor sound slows down post, increases costs, and can damage the emotional impact of your project.
On-set sound is more than just pressing record. It’s about mic placement, environment control, and proactive problem-solving in real time. That’s why working with a professional team matters.
